Frequently Asked Questions.

  • Everything you physically have to in order to get that property for sale (if you didn’t have us in your corner).

Those tasks could include clearing out all of the stuff that’s been left inside the house - books, documents, clothes, beddings, furniture, appliances - and don’t forget about all of those “knick-knacks” collected over the years - aka MILLENIAL INHERITANCE!

What about the stuff that’s in the kitchen, the laundry, the garage, the shed and other storage areas?

Then you’ll have to get all of that sorted, organised, stored, distributed to family, donated and or disposed.

Once the property is basically an empty shell - you’ll need to start identifying and making some minor repairs and maintenance; cleaning the inside and outside of the house; getting the lawns and gardens presentable (mowing, weeding, trimming, hedging) + anything else the agent needs done before the property can be considered “fit for market. “

Yep, that’s what we actually could be doing, for you. And that’s what we have done for others who knew that this is NOT a DIY task.

  • Getting started is simple. Reach out through our contact form and schedule a call. We’ll get a handle on where you’re up to with the process and guide you through the next steps as you answer our questions along the way. The earlier you get in touch with us, the better.

  • Against the giants of our industry - it’s our price point.

Against the cowboys of our industry - it’s the fact that we’re a fully insured, registered company.

Against the rest - it’s our trustworthy, reliable, human approach and the rapport we build with our clients. Don’t forget - we handle some pretty sensitive belongings and you don’t want just anyone entering that domain.

  • Our contact page contains a form you can fill in and submit. We’ve got an awesome track record with getting back to our customer inquiries - don’t believe us?

We also have our mobile number plastered on our google business page - however, we get spammed by marketers and scammers daily, so if you are going to call and we don’t answer - please send us a text or leave a short voicemail to let us know it’s you and we’ll get back to you almost immediately.

  • Pricing varies from property to property. No two properties are ever the same - the size, shape, height, quantity of contents, garden / lawn areas etc are always different. The location of the property, access, council restrictions etc can also affect pricing.

But, as mentioned to us by most of our previous clients and even the agents that have represented them - the cost of our services is considered a worthwhile investment which you recoup through the sale of the property. Don’t forget about the time and effort you save + the physical and emotional stress you avoid, too. They’re also important to consider when assessing our estimates for your project.

  • Lots of communication - but it has to be a two-way street. Especially in the early stages when we’re discussing prices, contracts and other project details. Usually once we’ve started then you won’t hear from us for a while as we go through the motion of getting the property emptied.

We’ll always discuss findings, such as: hidden valuables we’ve uncovered, items not flagged as keeps but may require another inspection, major defects and repairs that turn up, etc.

We understand it’s more convenient to chat over the phone but with our type of work and the liabilities that we’re faced with - probably best we communicate via text or email so all parties are protected.

Aside from that, we’re a happy-go-lucky kind of team that knows how to get the work done.

Once the project is underway, you can usually reach your project manager anytime, within reason.

  • EFT bank transfer direct into our bank account is the preferred method, but we also accept cash and PayID at this stage.

Credit Card payments are currently not available.

Cheque / Check payments are no longer accepted, either.

Finance is an option and is provided by a third-party. We can connect you with the broker upon your request. Please note that this option is subject to normal lending assessments and criteria and is NOT a product we offer internally.

Our services are considered eligible expenses that the estate can pay for so be sure to discuss services like ours with your probate lawyers for further information and guidance.
